GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: PART-TIME & FULL-TIME POSITIONS AVAILABLE
Performs routine building cleaning tasks; does related work as required.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES
Under supervision, incumbents of this class perform a wide variety of routine manual work required for the clean, safe, and optimal operation of the buildings, facilities, and grounds of the various schools; does related work as required.
EXAMPLES OF WORK: (ILLUSTRATIVE ONLY) . Sweeps, mops, and waxes floors using appropriate equipment; . Washes windows; . Dusts and cleans woodwork, furniture, and other articles; . Participates in the operation and maintenance of low-pressure boilers; . Loads and unloads trucks and stock items in appropriate storage; . Replaces light bulbs and repairs switches; . Maintains building security by locking and unlocking doors and gates; . Shovels snow and sands sidewalks; . Paints cement floors and performs other routine painting tasks; . Collects and stores trash and garbage for pickup by the City; . Delivers packages and messages; . Moves and sets up furniture, supplies, and equipment; . Notifies supervisor of needed supplies and equipment for re-ordering; . Cleans and disinfects bathrooms, showers, etc.;
Performs related tasks, as assigned. Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $20.00 per hour Expected hours: 20 40 per week
