STTT, Inc. is a small not-for-profit organization located in Wellsville, NY. We provide one-on-one tutoring in adult basic education and high school equivalency preparation. Teachers also offer work readiness instruction and job searching skills. STTT, Inc.is looking for a teacher who is persistent and interested in creating a supportive learning atmosphere. The candidate must have basic computer skills and be extremely detail-oriented. Duties: Effectively teach all subjects of the GED Test: Math, Science, Language Arts and Social Studies. Prepare lessons and materials for all assigned students. Travel to students homes and or other locations for regular tutoring sessions. Administer the TABE assessment for new and continuing students. Administer HSE Readiness Assessments. Write progress notes for each student. Maintain attendance, activity reports, and files. Communicate with other staff and director about participants progress. Collaborate to create plans for successful student outcomes. Conduct intake appointments and make referrals for other local services. Provide overall case management services. Participate in regular staff meetings. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and director. Must travel and attend regular trainings. Full Time, Regular, 35-40 hours Also considering Part-Time applicants, 20-25 hours
