Job Description:

The part-time Occupational Therapy (OT) Administrative Assistant (AA) will be responsible for the office management including development of data management systems, management of software related to accreditation, clinical education/fieldwork, and admissions. Frequent, active, and timely communication (in person and virtual/phone/email) is required to meet the needs of outside constituents and coordinating managers. Ability to multitask and prioritize work related to deadlines, follow up on projects requires independence and strong organizational skills. Must also meet the needs of students, faculty, and visitors in a professional manner.

Accreditation: The AA maintains data management related to accreditation activities, including faculty and student data management, curriculum data management, and program evaluation.

Clinical Education/Fieldwork: The AA works closely with the OT Program Director and Fieldwork Coordinator to manage the essential data including legal contracts and clinical placement software including: coordination, networking and procurement of data from outside constituents.

Admissions: Centralized application database management (OT) including screening candidates to ensure that program requirements are met; tracking and communicating with applicants, and partnering with admissions to coordinate tours, programs of study, and resolve any concerns from prospective students. Collaboration with the Department Program Directors to establish and maintain articulation agreements is also required.

The estimated wage is $16.41 per hour for 18.75 hours per week for 52 weeks.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of an Associate's degree

  • 2-3 years of relevant experience
