ACTIVITIES AIDESHIFT: 4PM-7PM, Every Other Weekend, Part-Time (12-15hrs/week)
JOB DESCRIPTION:The Activities Aide assists the Activity Director in the development and implementation of planned monthly activities and daily activity schedule.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist the Activities Director in carrying out the activity programs for the residents, families, and public
Interacts positively with family members, updating them on how resident is doing in activities
Maintain activity records on the residents
Transport residents to and from various activities
Assist in creating and implementing a variety of activities that creates an energetic atmosphere for our residents
Greet family and guests as they enter the facility for planned events
Provides direction to visitors, staff, volunteers and external population
Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent
Displays optimism fostering a spirit of teamwork, positive attitude and conflict resolution among co-workers
Interacts positively with residents, family members and visitors in all circumstances
Excellent Communication Skills
Displays excellent Customer Service by assisting and cooperating with other personnel and interdisciplinary teams exhibiting helpfulness and support to all team members
