ACTIVITIES AIDESHIFT: 4PM-7PM, Every Other Weekend, Part-Time (12-15hrs/week)

JOB DESCRIPTION:The Activities Aide assists the Activity Director in the development and implementation of planned monthly activities and daily activity schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist the Activities Director in carrying out the activity programs for the residents, families, and public

  • Interacts positively with family members, updating them on how resident is doing in activities

  • Maintain activity records on the residents

  • Transport residents to and from various activities

  • Assist in creating and implementing a variety of activities that creates an energetic atmosphere for our residents

  • Greet family and guests as they enter the facility for planned events

  • Provides direction to visitors, staff, volunteers and external population

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Displays optimism fostering a spirit of teamwork, positive attitude and conflict resolution among co-workers

  • Interacts positively with residents, family members and visitors in all circumstances

  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Displays excellent Customer Service by assisting and cooperating with other personnel and interdisciplinary teams exhibiting helpfulness and support to all team members
