Position Summary Information
Job Description Summary
Responsible for Epic template design, redesign and configuration to optimize workflow and end-user satisfaction. Duties will include active participation during new implementations, definition and development of EHR templates and SQL data manipulation queries, performance of end-to-end testing of templates and SQL programming solutions, assist with development of SQL report/extract queries, and promoting increased efficiencies. In addition, this position will be required to provide continuous framework improvement analysis and recommendations.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree required. Associates Degree or Certification in Information Technology, Epic, or relevant field and work experience will be considered. One to three years of relevant analyst experience required, health care experience required, clinical or non-clinical.

Must be able to work with minimum supervision and maximum accountability. Must be self-sufficient and resourceful and know when to seek out support. Must be able to work quickly when investigating and implementing technology solutions. Must be flexible, adaptable, and have the ability to multitask and prioritize and set goals. Demonstrated communication skills required, including active listening and presentation and public speaking and technical and business writing skills. Certification in EPIC system or ability to become certified required. Good knowledge about the hardware and software applications in desktops. Good knowledge about customer service ethics and procedures. Good communication skills in order to converse with customers who are not knowledgeable about desktop technicalities. Ability to grasp the root of the problem of the customers directly or on phone and provide troubleshooting solutions. Good troubleshooting ability. Good analysis and decision making skills.

The employee must occasionally lift up to 15 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance and color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
Special Instructions to Applicants
Pay Range $72,000 – $82,000 annually.
