Under the direct supervision of the Finance Director you will help create a fun, positive welcoming environment for all those who come to the Schenectady JCC. The Front Desk Associate will present an appearance and an image consistent with the Schenectady JCC. Must possess mature judgment and sound decision-making. Full- Time and Part-Time positions available.
Part -Time hours are 2 evening shifts from 5pm-8pm and 1 weekend from 9am -3 pm.
Full- Time hours are 11:30 am -6 pm Mon- Friday.

Serve as the first point of contact for all members, prospective members and program participants.
Process member account information using the DAXKO Operating System, including payments and new member activation.
Answering all incoming calls and routing those calls to appropriate recipients.
Keep track of current and upcoming events.
General office tasks which may include copying and filing.
All other duties as assigned.
Attend appropriate staff meetings.
Reliable, professional, energetic, and friendly.
1 year of customer service experience.
Computer literate, must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work as a part of a team in a fast paced environment.
