Orgill Distribution Center Full Case Material Handler-PT in Rome, New York
NY1471392 Full Case Material Handler. Part time, Monday through Thursday 9 am to 2 pm with Orgill Distribution Center in Rome, NY. PRIMARY FUNCTION: Primarily responsible for the support of the DC by efficiently picking merchandise located in all order filling zones and labeling each carton in a manner which promotes ease of identification and scanning.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Must be able to accurately pick and label merchandise from primary pick locations.
2.Must be able to accurately identify units of measure.
3.Must be able to identify correct merchandise and account for damaged merchandise.
4.Must be able to accurately prepare orders and transport to Shipping Department.
5.Perform all other tasks and duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High School diploma preferred. Must be committed to a high standard of safety and be willing to comply with all safety policies and practices. Excellent attendance record. Must be willing and able to work overtime when needed. Ability to maintain records accurately and demonstrate problem solving skills. Power Equipment certification a plus. Must be able to read, write, and speak English Meet physical assessment requirements for this position Pay: $19.00/hour.
