We are flexible - this can be either a part time or full time enhanced weekends position - 7:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. working TWO 12-hour shifts between Friday 7:00 pm and Monday 7:30 am. Additional shifts available during week. Generous shift differentials + weekend incentive.
The Nurse is a member of a self-directed team and is responsible for providing exceptional care, supporting leisure, maintaining a safe and clean home, and providing meal and laundry support for those who live in the home. As Nurse, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents are living according to their desires.
Current NYS LPN or RN license
Current NYS CPR certification
Ability to attend/complete orientation
Demonstrated ability to take initiative with little direction
Minimum of one (1) year of nursing experience
Previous experience with elder care desired
Leadership, organizational, and communication skills required
Ability to comply with NYS Department of Health immunization requirements.
Stands, sits, and walks most of the day. Frequent moving and ability to lifting up to 50 lbs. Ability to perform activities as defined in skills check list.
