Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine is seeking a general academic anesthesiologist at the Professor/Associate Professor/Assistant Professor level. Duties will include delivery of anesthesia care to patients, clinical and didactic teaching of residents, and supervision of CRNAs. This position requires skills in clinical care, research, and/or education. Opportunities exist to develop independent and collaborative research as well as innovative education models.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates should be board certified/eligible in Anesthesiology, possess an M.D. degree or equivalent, and possess the credentials to obtain an unrestricted NYS Medical license and DEA.

Pay Range

Pay Range: $3,000 per 10 hour day

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the job’s salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
