St. John's Embrace Living CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant - Day Shift in Rochester, New York

We have FULL TIME (5 shifts per week) & PART TIME (3-4 shifts per week minimum) opportunities on DAY shift (7:00 am-3:00 pm) + every other weekend (Saturday & Sunday). Please attach a CURRENT resume or include a complete text resume in the application form.
Pay is commensurate with years of CNA certification/experience. Generous extra pay for weekend shifts.
Position Summary:
The CNA protects, nurtures, and sustains life for elders living in their households by providing exceptional personal care, supporting a joyful life, maintaining a safe, clean house, and supporting meals and other needs for those who live in the home.
The CNA is a member of a team who work together to create real home reflective of the elders who live there.

What is required to be successful on the job?
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
· NYS Current Certified Nursing Assistant license required
· Relevant experience in food industry or cleaning preferred
· Proven ability in coordinating different responsibilities
· Basic computer knowledge preferred
· Desire and ability to interact with elders and care for their needs
· Willingness to embrace and exemplify St. John’s Brand Characteristics: Friendly, Respectful, Responsive; Compassionate, Innovative, Fun
· Ability to complete full orientation
. Compliance with NYS Department of Health immunization requirements.
Physical Requirements:
Sits, stands, walks most of the day. Frequent moving and lifting of residents. Moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
Exposure to Conditions:
May be exposed to infection, odors, psycho-behavioral situations.
