POSITION DETAILS
Open to CUNY candidates only.
Queensborough Community College invites applications for the position of Enrollment Registrar Coordinator.
Reporting to the Associate Registrar, the Enrollment Registrar Coordinator will perform the following duties:
Review student records to determine if students have met graduation requirements in degree and certificate programs
Respond to inquiries and process requests sent to the general Graduation Audit email; communicate with students and advisors via email and phone regarding outstanding degree requirements
Assist with creating and maintaining requirements (scribing) in DegreeWorks, the online advisement tool
Process graduation waivers, substitutions and degree exceptions
Update graduation statuses for students through batch processes
Provide front desk support, assisting students, faculty,and staff with exceptional customer service
Assist with duplicate and batch diploma orders through the Parchment system
Assist with post enrollment requisite check (PERC) processing
Update change of curriculum and/or change of major requests
Assist with reviewing records for repeated courses and adjusting records appropriately
Update student data in CUNYfirst; assist with resolution of student records and graduation issues
Generate queries in CUNYfirst and/or DegreeWorks
May assist with the supervision and training of clerical and part-time staff
Ability to work evening of weekend hours as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's Degree required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
-Experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions (CUNYfirst preferred)
-Experience working in the Registrar’s Office
-Experience with graduation auditing
- Knowledge of DegreeWorks
-Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to function well under pressure
-Strong customer service skills
-Excellent computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
-Ability to establish and foster collaborative relationships with faculty, staff, and students
CUNY TITLE OVERVIEW
Provides operational support for registration operations.
Provides advice on academic and administrative registration requirements
Interprets and communicates academic, registration and enrollment policies and procedures
Assists with registration and provides information to prospective and enrolled students in registration and records-related areas
Complies, generates, and updates various reports, catalogs, and inventories
Maintains compliance with established record release procedures, including the Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
Collaborates with College and University offices to address inquires and concerns and resolve student registration and record problems
May participate in activities related to course scheduling and maintaining course databases
May monitor and revise the content of web pages and other communication materials
Performs related duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
Salary range $ 54,268. - $ 60,394. Commensurate with education and experience.
