First Choice Staffing is hiring for a Part Time Occupational Nurse located in Oswego, NY at Novelis
Responsibilities -Reporting to work on time; proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). -Follow all safety policies while performing the job. -Identification and correction of both potential and existing deficiencies affecting safety and productivity. -Immediately reporting personal injury or property damage to supervision. -Reading and understanding chemical labels and bulletins displayed in the work place in order to maintain a safe environment -Effective written and verbal communication skills. -Knowledge and maintenance of all OSHA standards. -Provides information by answering questions and requests. -Maintaining all assigned equipment by cleaning, organizing, and performing basic preventative maintenance. -Attending meetings as required. -Assist in completion of services during times of staff shortages. -Portray a courteous and professional image to clients and co-workers. -Compliance with all Novelis policies and procedures.
Requirements -Current NYS License Registered RN -Current ACLS qualified -ER or Cardiac Care experience (hospital based) -Computer skills and knowledge of relevant software -Interpersonal communication skills -Strong judgement and decision making
Work Hours Monday and Tuesday 1pm 5pm and every other Friday 1pm 5pm, with on-call hours which is currently one day per week and every 5th weekend. Training would be during the day, if possible.
Wage $35 per hour
