Your Role and Responsibilities

Your Role and Responsibilities
This role is focused on the design of solutions which enable existing and new application components, existing and new applications, packaged software offerings and systems to work together within an enterprise or among enterprises. These solutions may use different technologies, vendors, platforms, and styles of computing. The primary focus of an Integration Architect is to develop solutions that fully integrate and collaborate with existing IT systems in order to perform an automated business function (usually known as “Enterprise Application Integration” or more recently as “Business Integration”). All levels of integration are within the scope of the Integration Architect (User Access, Application, Extended Enterprise, Process, and Information Integration). Integration Architect requires a holistic view of enterprise solutions, including a sound appreciation of operational costs, security, performance engineering, application development and systems management. The employee Influences the functional strategy.
Professional knowledge of function, business unit or country operations. Understand organizational resources, priorities, needs and policies.
Assists in guiding other professionals. Adapt communications and approaches to participate in negotiations with various partners, resulting in common agreements.
Analyze complex/new situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts, and risks. Develop and implement solutions.
Participates with multi-functional teams or conducts special projects. Works with Chief Architect and direct management. Assists in Influencing people and organizations, including executive management, when issues are complex/difficult and require considerable diplomacy. Considerable latitude in responsibilities to define and decide on tools, processes, priorities and resources following general business unit directives.

This role defines a high-level enterprise-wide IT Architecture focusing on the mapping of I/T capabilities to business needs. The focus is on defining the relationships, flows and implementation of business (processes/activities/functions, information), applications, data and technology in the enterprise and the transitional process necessary for implementing technology in response to changing business needs. The employee Influences the functional strategy.
If you are hired into a Colorado work location, the anticipated compensation range for the position $107,000 to $204,000 is based on a full-time schedule. Your ultimate compensation may vary depending on your job-related skills and experience. For part time roles, the compensation will be adjusted appropriately.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
At least 4 - 6 years of experience technical/ architecture working with Distributed Systems
Existing architecture skills with Intel and RISC platforms.
Basic understanding of various virtualization (VMWARE/Power VM) technologies.
Basic understanding of Cloud based (AWS/Azure/Google/IBM/Oracle) technologies.
Basic understanding of various storage systems and platforms (SAN/NAS).
Basic understanding of various network systems and platforms (Cisco, Juniper, Spine/Leaf, Core/Edge).
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
TOGAF (or other relevant/similar) Architecture Certification
IT/Technical experience in the Financial Services/Banking Industry
Distributed Systems and Cloud certifications
Extensive architecture skills with Intel and RISC platforms.
Advanced understanding of various virtualization technologies.
Advanced understanding of Cloud based technologies.
Advanced understanding of various storage systems and platforms (SAN/NAS).
Advanced understanding of various network systems and platforms (Cisco, ACI, Spine/Leaf, Core/Edge).
