Location: 425 Paul Road, 14624
Position Type: Part-Time
Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8am-1pm. This is a fully in-office position.

Responsibilities:
The Workers' Compensation Specialist is responsible for overseeing the administration and coordination of workers' compensation claims and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. This role involves managing the claims process, working with medical providers, and facilitating return-to-work programs to support employees while minimizing organizational risks.
Claims Management:
Act as the main contact for all workers' compensation claims.
File claims, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
Communicate with employees, managers, and insurance providers to manage the claims process.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure compliance with workers' compensation laws and regulations.
Maintain accurate, confidential records of claims.
Monitor claims for fraud and policy alignment.
Employee Support:
Assist employees through the workers' compensation process, explaining their rights and responsibilities.
Work with medical providers to ensure proper care and treatment.
Return-to-Work Programs:
Develop programs to support injured employees' safe return to work.
Coordinate with managers on temporary accommodations or modified duties.
Risk Management and Training:
Analyze injury trends and recommend safety improvements.
Partner with the Safety Committee to deliver training on injury prevention.
Conduct audits to identify safety risks.
Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare and analyze reports on claims, costs, and trends.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in workers' compensation or claims management.
Familiarity with NYS workers' compensation laws and regulations.
Analytical skills to assess injury trends and recommend preventative measures.
Certification in Workers' Compensation or Risk Management is a plus.
