Position Summary

The Department of Pediatrics is seeking a Student Research Worker to join our team in a temporary part time position within the Division of Molecular Genetics. This position will assist in projects related to stress-induced behaviors in mice, including behavioral assays in mice and neuroanatomical analyses (mounting, staining and imaging brain sections) as well as assisting lab-members with experiments.

Responsibilities

  • Behavioral assays in mice and neuroanatomical analyses (mounting, staining, and imaging brain sections).
  • Assist lab members with experiments.
  • Perform related duties & responsibilities as assigned/requested.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or Equivalency required.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Willingness to work with mice is essential.
  • Organized, thorough, maintain good records, and able to work independently.
  • Basic computer skills and be able to use Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point.
