Aon is looking for a Strategy Senior Associate in New York City!
As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Strategy Consulting practice within the Strategy & Technology Group (STG) vertical in New York City.
Aon STG Strategy Consulting provides advisory services to firms who operate across the insurance landscape, which include many of the most prestigious companies in the Global Property, Casualty, Insurtech, Digital Platforms, and Health and Benefit (re)insurance market. We help our clients to navigate a fast-changing market environment to drive profitable and sustainable growth and business results.
As a Senior Associate Strategy Consultant, you will be in a client-facing role working closely with Client Leaders, Project Managers, and Aon Leadership. Your role will involve leading project work streams to deliver business focused initiatives and strategic recommendations for our clients through understanding their objectives, addressing their challenges, developing an understanding of market conditions and issues, and defining strategies that drive growth opportunities.
What the day will look like
Contribute to full lifecycle client engagements by leading pivotal initiatives, handling project workstreams, and implementing strategic recommendations
Responsible for delivery of project workstreams and outputs, leading team members, and mentoring colleagues outside of specific projects
Lead market research efforts, including quantitative and qualitative analyses, to synthesize strategic recommendations for clients
Lead the facilitation of interviews with clients and Aon colleagues
Support the operational needs of STG including internal initiatives such as recruiting, marketing, communications, etc.
Skills and experience that will lead to success
Proven experience with 3-4 years of experience in strategy consulting, enterprise strategy, or (re)insurance business development
Previous project management experience
Professional experience with client facing collaboration and communication
Ability to perform well under pressure, on multiple work streams
Experience with development and leadership of junior analysts
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to network and engage with colleagues, prospects, and clients.
Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint and Excel)
Bachelor's degree
Desired skills (Not required, but would be a benefit to have)
Experienced in Alteryx and other data analytics tools is a plus
Prior experience at prominent Advisory Firms/ Strategy Consulting Firms is preferred

Pay Transparency Laws:
The salary range for this position is $80,000 to $106,700 annually. The actual salary will vary depending on applicant’s geographical location, education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
