New York University Research Associate (Part-Time) in New York, New York
Professor Alejandro Ganimian is seeking a research associate for a project seeking to estimate the impact of providing primary and secondary schools with information on their internal-efficiency (e.g., passing, repeition, dropout) rates. The two main tasks are to finish cleaning the datasets and run impact analyses in Stata. Initial contract will be for 20 hours/week for five weeks; renewal conditional on performance. The research associate can work remotely from wherever.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Research Associate include working with Prof. Ganimian to clean the datasets and run the impact analyses, participate in weekly check-in calls and liase with government officials on issues regarding data sharing.
In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the hourly base rate for this position is $25-$29/hour. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
Per NYU's remote-work policy, this position is expected to be fully remote.
Knowledge and experience using Stata is required.
