The Program

The Presidential Management Associate (PMA) Internship Program is part of the CEO Global Presidential Program. The full-time PMA program is an intensive, two-year rotational program specially designed for MBA students with over five years of full-time professional work experience between undergraduate and graduate studies. This leadership development program integrates customized professional rotations, continuous leadership development, coaching, mentoring, hands-on practical experience, group networking opportunities, and strategic thinking initiatives to optimize talent and build business acumen and capability. It capitalizes on the participants' creativity, learning agility and innovation to create bespoke, high-touch experiences that will accelerate career growth.

The Estée Lauder Companies offers first-year MBA students the opportunity to participate in the PMA Summer Internship Program between their first and second years of their MBA program. The 10-week Summer Internship Program offers participants challenging and engaging experiences within critical business functions, working under the guidance and sponsorship of a key executive.

Marketing

The Marketing track provides PMAs with exposure in the key areas of consumer, product, and digital marketing. The Marketing PMA will have the opportunity to interact with senior executives within our powerhouse brands and functions. Participants will also gain exposure to the global marketing strategy of the organization and how it is implemented throughout the regions and affiliates around the world. They will be given challenging projects and will have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional partners i.e., Product Development, Creative, Finance, Demand Planning or Global Brand Supply Chain. The Marketing PMA will gain a comprehensive understanding of ELC brand marketing calendars and learn to master the art of conducting business and competitive analysis.

Online

The Online track focuses on the increasingly important role of e/m-commerce and digital innovation in today’s retail landscape. The Online PMA will be exposed to various functions within our Online division with a focus on e-commerce, merchandising analytics, and omnichannel initiatives while being a part of a fast-growing area of the business.

Human Resources

The Human Resources track offers rotations focusing on the strategic priorities within the Centers of Excellence in Global Human Resources as well as opportunities to work with both function and brand HR Business Partner teams. The Human Resources PMA will work on projects related to ELC’s objective of attracting, hiring, developing, and retaining top talent.

Global Supply Chain

The Global Supply Chain track focuses on areas including manufacturing, planning, sourcing, and distribution. The Global Supply Chain PMA will gain exposure to strategic sourcing, tactical purchasing, logistics, supplier quality, global planning, production scheduling, all with a sustainability lens.

Data Analytics

The Data Analytics track focuses on the evolving role of data insights and analytics in our consumer growth and marketing strategies. The Data Analytics PMA will be offered various technically challenging roles in our Enterprise Marketing & Data division with a focus on data science, data analytics and customer relationship management. These roles will represent a cross section of global and regional perspectives.

The summer internship program offers participants:

· Challenging and engaging experiences within critical business functions, working under the guidance and sponsorship of a key executive, while contributing as a functioning member of a team

· A suite of activities ranging from senior management presentations to professional development programs

· Corporate business overview with William P. Lauder, Executive Chairman, or Fabrizio Freda, President and Chief Executive Officer

· Program leaders committed to the development of each summer intern—as a member of this program, you will develop the skills and experience needed to accelerate your career

Qualifications:

· First year MBA student

· Minimum of 5-8 years of full-time work experience between undergraduate and graduate studies with a demonstrated record of achievement

· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead, motivate and influence others

· Robust project management skills, flexibility, business acumen and executive presence

Work Authorization

· Please note the Presidential Management Program does not offer sponsorship.

· We require US work authorization, without restriction, for all PMA candidates. As we use this internship as a talent pipeline to the full-time program, you must not require sponsorship now or at any time in the future.
