New York University Adjunct Position in Economics (part-time, non tenure-track) in New York, New York

We are looking to hire an instructor to teach a standard intermediate-level course in International Economics to Sophomore undergraduates in Spring 2025.

Adjunct Faculty at Stern are part-time instructors, hired on a term-by-term basis. Responsibilities typically include teaching one to two classes per year. Most appointments are made 6-9 months in advance. However, applications are welcome at any time and will be kept on file for future openings.

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the contact hour rate for the positions are:

Adjunct Assistant $350-$500

Adjunct Associate $400-$600

Adjunct Professor $450-$650

This rate is based on the collective bargaining agreement with Local 7902.

Applicants should possess a PhD in Economics and must have experience teaching and or doing research in the field of international economics.
