EXOS Community Engagement Manager - Multitenant Employee Wellbeing Center in New York City, New York
Job Summary:
As a Community Engagement Manager, you will be the driving force behind meaningful connections within a multi-tenant employee wellbeing facility. Your role will involve designing, managing, and scaling community-driven experiences that engage diverse audiences. You will lead a team, foster tenant engagement, and craft community-driven experiences that inspire participation and drive meaningful connections. Blending strategic thinking, operational excellence, and creativity, you will design and execute initiatives that make the wellbeing center an integral part of employees' lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Operational Excellence
Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the wellbeing center is clean, safe, and efficiently managed.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a diverse team to deliver exceptional member experiences.
Manage budgets and track financial performance to meet operational and revenue goals.
Partner with the landlord to align wellbeing center operations with building-wide objectives and tenant satisfaction.
Community Building & Engagement
Develop and implement initiatives that enhance community engagement across various programs and interest groups.
Build and manage both physical and digital communities to increase participation and engagement.
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure community impact and effectiveness.
Apply systems thinking to create scalable and sustainable experiences for facility members.
Champion and model first-class customer service to build a strong referral network.
Event Planning & Execution
Plan and execute programs and events that unite community leaders, employees, and partners to foster meaningful interactions.
Provide subject matter expertise and critical thinking to support the site in delivering high-quality programs and events.
Create and oversee co-sponsored forums, educational seminars, clinics, and wellness events to drive awareness and engagement.
Sales & Business Development
Drive enrollment of new members and retention of existing members by providing expert knowledge of program and facility offerings and recommending services tailored to member needs.
Develop strong relationships with key client stakeholders to enhance client satisfaction and increase engagement.
Identify and grow opportunities within the community, collaborating with stakeholders to drive enrollment and engagement.
Communication & Strategy Execution
Craft and deliver compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences, simplifying complex concepts for broad understanding.
Tailor written and verbal communications effectively for business partners, clients, and internal teams.
Collaborate seamlessly with business, design, and human performance teams, providing actionable recommendations to enhance the community experience.
Identify potential risks proactively and navigate ambiguity to make informed decisions
Qualifications & Experience:
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Minimum of 3 years of professional experience managing projects, programs, or operations.
Proven success in leading cross-functional teams.
Strong leadership background in academic, professional, or extracurricular settings.
Expertise in analyzing data to guide programmatic decisions.
Ability to think strategically and formulate long- and short-term goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in healthcare, wellness, or hospital settings.
Background in athletics, sports performance, or health and wellness industries.
Ability to assess, identify, measure, and monitor client/business needs for informed decision-making.
Proven track record of building business partnerships and developing key client relationships to maximize growth.
Creative problem-solving skills with a focus on driving sales and referrals.
Familiarity with design thinking methodologies.
Exceptional communication skills with a global, diverse audience.
Must have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.
Per pay transparency requirements, the compensation for this position ranges from $70,000/year to $85,000/year. Minimum rates may vary based on local wage laws. Pay is dependent on factors including site location, specialty, certifications and work experience as well as other business needs. Exos offers a comprehensive benefits package for all full time employees (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements), which includes health insurance, life and disability benefits, 401(k) plan, and paid time off. Additionally, Exos offers a variety of part time benefits (subject to eligibility requirements).
