The Parker Jewish Institute, located in New Hyde Park, NY, is seeking qualified Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our Nursing team in our skilled nursing home. We want to speak with naturally caring, empathetic CNAs who are focused on providing the best quality of life possible for every patient in their care, with patience, courteousness and tactful interactions with residents, staff, family members and visitors. Some of the key requirements: Current and valid NYS CNA certification High School Diploma or GED Recent, relevant experience working with the geriatric population a plus; will hire newly certified CNAs Flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays as needed Will be friendly and sociable and be able to provide comfort to patients with good interpersonal skills - both verbal and in writing Team member - with a collaborative, team-based work environment, we are looking for individuals who embrace a high level of care, compassion and teamwork Vaccinated against COVID-19
