We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team; no prior experience is necessary. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work closely with school-aged children and families in our award-winning school district. The ideal candidate will be working within a "unified" school district and will be committed to ensuring that our students receive the highest quality education.
OPEN ROLES: School Licensed Practical Nurse Full-time, part-time and per diem shifts available! LOCATIONS: Nassau County- multiple locations Suffolk County- multiple locations Westchester County- multiple locations! DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES AS A SCHOOL NURSE: Working 1:1 with students with disabilities ensure the well-being and comfort of patients while adhering to medical standards and protocols Monitoring and recording evidence of students learning and progress Nurse office coverage as needed provide direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician, assisting with medication administration REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Current NYS LPN license Up to date CPR card Fingerprinting Up-to-date medical documentation (i.e. physical, titers, quantiFERON) BENEFITS & INCENTIVES: 401k Health Insurance- Medical, Dental, and Vision (for those who qualify) Flexible schedule Referral bonus program Sick time off 24/7 Staffing support
