We are on the hunt for a PART-TIME (3 days per week) Litigation Legal Secretary to add value to our team. Based in Jericho, New York, this role entails providing comprehensive support within a private law practice, primarily focusing on litigation-related tasks. This opportunity offers an immediate project work opportunity on a part-time (Wed - Fri, 8 hours per day) basis.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct electronic filing of court documents utilizing NYSCEF.

• Take charge of the preparation of discovery responses, pleadings, and templates.

• Efficiently manage and update case management software.

• Handle calendar management duties, ensuring all appointments are set and confirmed.

• Engage in direct communication with clients for setting up appointments.

• Oversee all billing functions associated with the role.

• Maintain a comprehensive record of all litigation files.

• Provide assistance in other litigation-related tasks as needed.

NOTE: Position is part-time, Wed - Fri, weekly, 9 - 5, 8 hours per day.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Legal Secretary.

• Proficiency in Case Management Software.

• Ability to perform Billing Functions accurately and efficiently.

• Demonstrated experience in Calendar Management.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Litigation.

• Familiarity with Litigation - Filing procedures.

• Competence in managing Electronic Files.

• Must have experience in preparing and filing Pleadings.

• Demonstrated ability in preparing Discovery Responses.
