Ongoing Service Coordinator

Details about this opportunity:
Location: Suffolk / Nassau County, NY
Status: Part-Time, Fee for service or Full time Potential. Follows the school Calendar .This position is fully remote.
Hours: Available Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (Not necessarily available all day.)
Compensation: $13 per unit- $60/Hour
Please note this is a range. Rates are determined by the service provided, professional experience and license/certifications held. In addition the position posted may be either full-time or fee-for-service (FFS), depending on the current caseload which will be discussed during the interview. This arrangement can vary and is subject to change.

Responsibilities:
Responsible for monitoring the delivery of Early Intervention Services on a child’s IFSP
Provide parents with continuing opportunities to share information, priorities and concerns regarding their services and concerns of their child
Insure timeliness of paperwork submission and implementation of NYS and County regulations
Facilitate the development of a transition plan to preschool
Attend and participate in continuing education, ongoing staff in-services and quarterly meetings

And this background:
Must be an Established Ongoing Service Coordinator
Associates Degree or BA in a Heath or Human Service field
Committed to helping children and their families.
Ability to multitask efficiently with several cases.
Experience in Early Childhood.
Obtain BEI Certification for Service Coordination within 90 days of employment.
Bilingual is a plus
