Summary:

The Designer applies user-centered design principles to improve the workflow, expand the functionality, and enhance the visual appeal of Teachers website and mobile apps. The Designer gathers requirements from users and stakeholders, defines information architecture, creates sample user personas, and documents user workflow. Designs wireframes, mockups, and prototypes. Applies the results from user research and usability testing to create new features and improve current features.

Education and/or Experience:

A bachelors degree in graphic design, Visual communications, Interaction design, Human-computer interaction, or a related field required. Minimum three years of experience as a UI/UX Designer or equivalent role dedicated to improving experiences with digital products and services. Proficient in industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or InVision). Proficient understanding of inclusive user-centered design principles, usability, and accessibility standards. Experience working in agile environments and managing multiple projects concurrently Experience with front-end development technologies and design feasibility. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams, confidently presenting and defending design decisions. Strong problem-solving skills coupled with a meticulous attention to detail.

Job Responsibilities:

Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, and usability testing to gather insights into user preferences and challenges. Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to present innovative design concepts Design visually appealing and intuitive user interfaces that reflect Teachers brand identity and adhere to best UI/UX practices. Iterate on designs based on stakeholder feedback and user testing to continuously enhance the user experience. Partner with developers to ensure the effective and efficient implementation of design concepts Monitor and analyze user interactions to identify areas for improvement and inform future design decisions. Analyze market trends and user behavior to contribute to strategic design thinking. Collaborate with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to define project goals that align with user needs and business objectives. Provide documentation and guidelines to ensure design consistency across platforms Proactively identify challenges and recommend solutions to enhance overall user engagement and satisfaction. Stay current with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to incorporate fresh ideas into designs.
