New York Part Time Jobs

$42/hr: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Overseeing a few different group homes. (Locations could be in Amherst/Williamsville/Depew/South Buffalo/West Seneca).

OPWDD experience strongly preferred!

The Long Term Care RN assumes responsibility and accountability for the delivery of care for patients in a Long Term Care and/or Assisted Living Facilities. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner with supervision, as well as critical thinking and performance abilities in the coordination of patient care. Additionally, this individual performs according to nursing standards and is accountable for managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License for the state in which the nurse practices

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age

  General Comments We still have needs for RN support in our residential program. We have at least 3 full-time vacancies at this time. If you have any candidates that you can send our way, we would appreciate it. Again, this is a Monday - Friday 8 -4, on-site position. The RN would have oversight of 2-4 group homes and would need to travel to each site at least one time weekly. On an inconsistent basis, they may need to travel between sites on any given day to meet an urgent need, provide training, or to perform an assessment.
