High School Diploma or a GED, a college degree in Human Service, Healthcare Administration, Psychology, or related field preferred. A minimum of one-year experience providing direct care support to intellectually challenged individuals is preferred. A clean and valid NYS Drivers License required. The ideal candidate is highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities; able to multi-task, work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines; and able to work flexible hours including late evenings, early mornings, overnight and weekends.

Full-Time and Part-Time Direct Support Professional Positions (DSP), throughout Nassau & Suffolk Counties- Under the general direction of the manager, the Direct Support Professional is responsible for providing direct care services to the individuals we support in such a manner that promotes independence and individuality. Candidates must have a HS Diploma/GED. A valid NYS Drivers License is required for most positions. Experience working with individuals with intellectual challenges a plus but not required. CPR certified and SCIP-R certified a plus, but not required.
