Long Island Select Healthcare Inc. (LISH) is a comprehensive network of community health centers under a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) model. We provide Article 16 and 28 clinic services at 3 locations across Suffolk County, New York. LISH is currently searching for a Psychologist. We are able to offer part-time or full-time hours. We are looking for compassionate, energetic individuals who will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced clinical staff. Experience with the intellectually & developmentally disabled population is strongly preferred. Experience with autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, and I/DD population, experience administering ADOS and ADI-R, preferred and/or the ability to conduct Neuropsychological Evaluations is strongly desired. New Grads are also welcome to apply for consideration
Job Responsibilities:
Conducts mental health intake evaluations
Completes Psychological Evaluations & other clinical assessments
Completes psychosocial evaluations
Provides individual, couple & group counseling
Provides crisis counseling
Provides CBT and other evidence based treatment
Consults with patient's collaterals (e.g. parents, siblings, direct care providers, other clinicians
Provides referrals and case management services
QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduated from a regionally accredited school
Licensed & Registered to practice in NY by the NYS Department of Education
Basic Life Support Certification Required
Ability and means to travel to other sites for coverage as needed
Bilingual a plus
Scheduling Software and EMR experience, eClinicalworks preferred
BLS certified
