Delaware North is hiring a full-time Benefits Analyst to join our team in Buffalo, New York. As a Benefits Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the overall administration and compliance of all benefits, including retirement programs for non-union and union team members. Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $79,900 - $107,800 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

  • Administer U.S. and Canadian employee benefit programs, including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, leave policies, wellness initiatives, and retirement plans such as 401(k) and Supplemental Executive Retirement plans

  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and provincial regulations, including ERISA and the Affordable Care Act, and support collective bargaining agreements from a benefits perspective

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to address issues, manage billing, and establish efficient benefits processes

  • Oversee data accuracy and compliance for Workday integration files, and support annual benefits activities such as open enrollment and employee education

  • Manage benefit-related billing, payroll deductions, and programs like relocation assistance and commuter benefits

More about you

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, human resources, or related field required; an MBA is preferred.

  • Certified Employee Benefits Specialist or SPHR designation is preferred

  • Minimum of 5 years of benefits experience required

  • Strong knowledge of Workday is preferred

  • Demonstrated knowledge of Workday with the ability to quickly learn HR system functionality

  • Experience with Office 365 along with intermediate Excel and analytics capability

  • Comprehensive understanding of various employee benefits including health insurance, retirement plans, life insurance, disability coverage and spending accounts
