Overview
Work alongside course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums and proctor 1-1 or small groups of students receiving disability-related accommodations.
Responsibilities
Work alongside Nursing course faculty to proctor in-person examinations in classrooms and/or auditoriums
Proctor 1-1 or small groups of students receiving disability-related accommodations
Be familiar with academic integrity protocols -- e.g. distance, seating, focused attention, exam start/stop time policies
Be able to confront and report suspected behaviors allegedly in violation of academic integrity policies and department testing policies.
Qualifications
Education/ Experience
- High School Diploma, college degree preferred
Knowledge/ Skills/ Abilities
Sensitivity in communications with faculty, students, and other staff
Ability to follow integrity protocols
Collaborative working style
Work experience in any educational or administrative capacityWhen necessary, will proctor an exam in another campus of Touro University
Physical Demands
Able to lift up to 5 lbs.
Extensive time sitting and standing
Be able to accommodate a schedule that varies according to student test days/times (per semester)
Maximum Salary
USD $17.00/Hr.
Minimum Salary
USD $17.00/Hr.
