FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Department of Behavioral Sciences at Kingsborough Community College invites applications at the Adjunct Lecturer, Adjunct Assistant Professor, Adjunct Associate Professor and Adjunct Professor levels to teach undergraduate courses in Policing in the Criminal Justice Program.

Performs teaching, research and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise. Shares responsibility for committee and department assignments including administrative, supervisory, and other functions

QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred Qualifications:

Master's degree required.

Experience in law enforcement.

Experience in one or more branch or jurisdiction, preferred.

Prior teaching or training experience, a plus.

For Adjunct Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor:

Ph.D. degree in area(s) of experience or equivalent. Also required is the ability to teach successfully.

For Adjunct Lecturer:

Bachelor's degree in area(s) of expertise, and the ability to teach successfully.

COMPENSATION

Adjunct Lecturer: $91.67 - $98.40 per hour.

Adjunct Assistant Professor: $100.00 - $106.41 per hour.

Adjunct Associate Professor: $108.33 - $118.45 per hour.

Adjunct Professor: $112.50 - $130.49 per hour.

Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications.
