Sungrow Greenhouses Crop Care Worker in Albion, New York
Work with plants every day in a technologically advanced, climate controlled greenhouse! Friendly work environment with mentors looking to help grow your skill set! Starting wage is $16.95/hr with potential to earn weekly bonuses and piece rates. The crop care team sees that tomato crop is properly trained, pruned, and harvested to assure the best quality and production. All Crop Care Workers are required to: Follow proper safety procedures Enter labor registrations properly in Priva FS system Be able to work in an environment with Bumble bees Ability to perform work in an environment with high temperatures potentially exceeding 95 - 100 degree F Report any issues that may affect plants, people, or structure. I.E. Insect/disease pressure observed, structural issues, safety issues etc. Meet all Quality standards as coached by supervisors Maintain a clean and organized work area Meet all Good agricultural requirements.
