Athletic Trainer - Part Time Albany Market
Athletic Trainers works with coaches and athletes to ensure that players are ready to play, and receive proper treatment in the event of illness or injury. Attend games as scheduled.
Athletic Trainer will:
Tape or brace Athletes prevent injuries before a game/practice
Evaluate injuries
Give emergency care or first aid
Create rehabilitation plans and go through them with injured athletes and Coach
Record patient injury, healing and recovery
Evaluate and document injuries of Athletes
Prepare and process paperwork for Coach and Campus Director
Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training preferred
1+ years’ clinical experience
CPR and first aid certification a must
Current membership with or willingness to join National Athletic Trainers Association
Ability to pass drug screening and background check
Sufficient strength to assist with transferring patients using body mechanics
NON-EXEMPT POSITION: Hourly Rate is $25.00 - $30.00 per hour with a max of 25 hours a week.
