Oswego Industries is looking for a part time Federal Custodian to provide outdoor grounds maintenance and/or custodial duties for various locations. Responsibilities - Perform all necessary outdoor work such as spring cleaning and snow removal - Maintain and clean equipment - Report damaged equipment to Supervisor - Report problems, complaints, or incidents promptly to Supervisor - Complete assigned tasks such as checking restrooms in assigned area, cleaning, resupplying and general cleaning - Understands team concept and acts as a part of it - Follows all safety procedures - Inspect area for cleanliness and ensure no cleaning devices (chemical containers, equipment, rags, etc.) are left behind - Proper use of all equipment
Safety Responsibilities - Wear personal safety protection appropriate to the area that work is being completed in - Be knowledgeable in bloodborne pathogens and apply proper safety precautions - Be knowledgeable about cleaning products and chemicals and use in accordance with prescribed recommendations - Use ergonomically correct posture when completing repetitious work or lifting pails, etc
Education - IEP, GED or High School graduate
Work hours Monday - Friday
Wage $17.20
